Cathy’s Cakes specialises in fondant covered Birthday, Christening, Wedding and Occasion Cakes and Cupcakes.
All cakes are entirely home baked, from the sponge to the buttercream and fondant icing. Every effort is taken to create a delicious handcrafted cake to your specification which has the natural fresh taste and texture which you can only get from home baking. All figures, bows, flowers and other decorations are hand crafted from sugar and can be removed from the cake and kept as mementos.
I am passionate about creating beautifully crafted cakes to make your special occasions even more memorable. I love to challenge myself by trying new things so if you aren’t sure of what type of design you would like to go for I will always endeavour to make a one of a kind personalised cake for you. All ingredients are the highest quality. I use real jam in my jam and buttercream Madeira Cakes, real chocolate rather than cocoa powder in my chocolate cakes and chocolate buttercream, real lemon zest and juice and pure vanilla extract rather than artificial flavourings. I add no preservatives or additives to my cakes so you can be assured that all cakes are natural and freshly baked.
